Hi all, I have just joined the club, I am Paul and have been caravanning for around 12 years. We have just decided to upgrade our current van and purchased a 2010 Bailey Senator California yesterday. Looking forward to the 23rd when we pick it up.
I have been looking at insurance prices for the new van but am unsure what value to insure it for under a new for old policy.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Paul,

In order to insure it New For Old you will need to establish the price of a new equivalent model in order to decide on the sum insured for the caravan. In effect you are insuring a new one and paying the premium as though you are insuring a new one.
