I've been using a cover on my caravan since I bought it 4 years ago. As long as it's a "breathable" one it should not cause any problems. Mine is a Reverie make and I find it very good. What I do is remove the tip of the Ariel, and store it in one of my cabinets, until I am going away again. So far I have not had any problems and I find it keeps the caravan nice and dry and clean. No bird droppings onto the caravan and no fly's crashing into the side of the van. All you have to do is measure from front to the rear of the van and order the equivalent size. Don't go for the cheapest and neither will you need the most expensive as some of them can cost a lot of money. Some say they are good and other's would not use them. Make your own mind up.
