Don't forget to check with your insurer if your caravan will be covered if stored in France. Most give you a maximum number of days overseas per year.

Usually it is your caravan that is only insured third party (by the car insurance) while you are towing it. That's why you have caravan insurance to cover accidental damage etc to the caravan. I would double check as I can't understand why you would be told that your car would only be insured...

I like the BBC weather app that knows where you are and gives you the local weather. It, like so many of these things, only works if you can get a WIFI signal though. What is the TV aerial app called? Keep us informed if you find any other caravanning related apps or apps useful for caravanners.

Have you tried breakers? When I get time I'd like to put together a section of the site on breakers and suppliers of OEM spares.

We try not to push the caravan insurance side of things here. We are trying to give something back to caravanners in general. Having said that we always welcome comments especially positive ones.
